Happy Saturday!

And Happy it is!  First, I'm off scrapping this weekend.  Relaxing and trying to get caught up on Asher's elementary years book and our California trip last summer.  My goal is 50 pages over the weekend.  Over the course of 3 days, I think it's possible.

Today I'm bringing you two new releases from Romajo.

First, the next month's kit in her P12 2014 series.  I love having a kit that will build upon itself.  This month I used the Strings -n- Things kit as well that was released last month.  Read more about it on her blog.

I love the big bold paper behind this picture of my son from our water park last summer.  It just totally screams summer to me!  (also uesd is a free template from Melidy Designs).

I've created two journal cards for you to enjoy as well.  I hope you like them.

Second in Romajo's store today is a fun bright kit called Lalalaalalalaa.  It was designed with Holland and Soccer in mind, but I LOVE the orange!  I smiled when I saw it and was instantly reminded of how my kids are obsessed with the song "Happy" right now.  My 10 year old who normally isn't too excited about anything will bob his head and move his feet to the beat.  Anything that can make my kids smile makes me smile!!
And here is my fun lo!

That's it for me today!  I'm actually away scrapping and watching movies (and probably eating!!).  I hope you are having a great end to your June and make some time for being creative!

Saturday's Super Saver - Tranquility Beach

I just love this kit.  It's full of seashells and ribbon and sand castles - I've found that this is a stunning complement to my beach pictures!  This kit was released by Romajo before; but today you can get it at a deep discount for this weekend only!  Check out her store.  What kind of fun things can you make?

Here are two recent layouts I've made with the kit.

I hope you have a wonderful Saturday!

Quoted: Walt!

Walter Elias Disney is a massive inspiration in many people's lives. Not only because of his animation talents or his ability to create the 'Most Magical Place on Earth', but also because his outlook on life is so inspiring.

New in the the Melidy Designs Shop this week are two sets of quote cards, featuring some of Walt's most famous quotes in a subway art style. These quote cards would make great additions to Disneyland and Disney World pages as well as being a great feature for your 'everyday' project life style pages:

If you want both sets they've been bundled together so you can save some pennies!
Quoted: Walt - Bundle - Melidy DesignsThe classic Disney colors make them them versatile for a wide range of pages!  Here is my page using these cards.

Have a great start to your weekend!  Make time to scrap!

Party Going On

Today in Romajo's shop, she is releasing a former free kit, Party Going On.  This was the April Digi Express freebie she gave everyone, but if you missed it then, it is now available in her shop for half price!  You can't beat that price!

This kit has some beautiful colors in it, and I've enjoyed playing with it!  Here are a couple pages made with Party Going On.

The end of school has finally come & gone and I am beat!  The kids both went to day camp (Cub Scout) this past week, and then in the evening we had Vacation Bible School.  We're looking forward to a less crazy week next week!  Whatever you are doing this coming week, I hope you make it a good one!

Beyond the Stars

Over on Mousescrappers they do a design challenge each month.  Designers can participate in a color scheme and create a kit that will coordinate under one theme and color pallate.  This month the theme was outer space.  You can only get her portion of challenge at the Mousescrappers Store.  And to go along with the kit made for the designer challenge, Romajo has created this bold out of his world kit called Beyond the Stars.  It's perfect for night time photos, Tomorrowland Photos, are any out of this world experiences!

Romajo has also created this set of word art to go along with the kits - and it's free for you over on her blog!

This kit worked perfectly for my memories with Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.
I hope you have an out of this world  weekend!

Melidy Designs is opening it's (virtual) doors today at the Mad for the Mouse Designs shop! It's everything you'd expect from construction toy kit, bright primary colours, bold chunky elements and a lot of bricky goodness! This kit will cover all of your building needs from trips to the Lego Store, to Legoland, to your at home creations and trips to the movies to see the Lego movie (released on DVD next week). This kit was so perfect for our trip to Legoland last summer that I started and had a hard time stopping!  Here are two fun pages I made with this kit.

Not only do you get this awesome kit, but Melissa's CT has created some great freebies you can collect on their blogs:
Brandy's Blog has a block Word Art
Michelle's Blog has a Lego Races frame cluster
Melissa's blog has a Conquering Legoland word art created by Rebecca.
And I was so inspired by Legoland that I created a bunch of titles for you from my own page!  I hope you can use at least one, and if you get to use more than that, you're just lucky!

Here Comes the Sun! (quite literally!)

I had every intention of posting these freebies for you over the weekend, but I just wasn't feeling so hot.  The weekend was spent at 2 swim parties, a girl scout event, and after that I pretty much slept all weekend.  LOL.  Oh, the joys of warmer days.  haha

Romajo has a FREE digital kit for you with the Digi Express Blog Train.  This kit is super huge!  And you can't beat the price!  Grab it during the month of June for free!

On Romajo's Facebook page you can get the Solid Papers.

The Flairs are in her shop.

And, if you are signed up for her newsletter, you can get the alphas.  If you're not signed up yet, you can still do so now and get the free alpha.  It will be on each newsletter in June.

To access the papers & elements, hop on over to her blog.

And lastly, here's what I made with the kit.  I also used Mad for the Mouse's Template Block it B kit.
I hope you are all enjoying the start of your summer!  We are officially on summer break (well the kids are), this Thursday at noon!
